The Police Athletic League, together with Berkeley Heights law enforcement, community, supports and inspires our local youth to realize their full individual potential as productive members of society.

Wrestling has been one of the fastest growing sports in the school district and the vast majority of Columbia and GL wrestlers came through the PAL program. 

 

Eligibility

 

PAL Wrestling is open to all Berkeley Heights and Mountainside residents from kindergarten through 8th grade.

 

Schedule
 

The season begins in November.  Practices will be 2-3 times per week at Governor Livingston

 

Leagues
 

Competition will be in 4 different leagues of various skill levels.  Wrestlers who are ready to compete will be placed at a level commensurate with their ability.

Registration begins in the Fall.

Note:  Coach Ortega and Coach Shea are strongly encouraging all 6th-8th graders to participate in PAL program to supplement their training and so they can participate in the North Jersey and Future Stars leagues as well as weekend tourneys (no additional fee for up to 3 tourneys)
