The Police Athletic League, together with Berkeley Heights law enforcement, community, supports and inspires our local youth to realize their full individual potential as productive members of society.
Heights P.A.L Cheerleading is open to Berkeley Heights and Mountainside students in grades 3rd - 8th. Teams will be formed based on age level and skill. Practice will be 1 week night and determined when teams are set. We cheer for
the Jr. Highlander PAL football teams on Sundays (some Saturday games may be scheduled) in September through mid-November. We will cheer for teams into the playoff season so please consider the season may go into November as those teams advance. Playoff scheduling will not be available until the end of the season. The schedule for Sunday games (when and where each team will cheer) will be determined when the weekly football schedule is confirmed and is subject to change on a weekly basis. This is considered a travel sport and all participants will be expected to attend away games.
Registration will open on June 7th. Early registration is $50 and needs to be completed before July
1st.Registration on or after July 1st will cost $65.Registration will close on August 21st. If you would like to register after August 21st please email Coach Michelle at mhanko@bhpal.org. Please note, a late fee of $20 will be charged and we will not accept any additional registrations after August 31st.
The registration fee includes the uniform and poms. Cheerleaders are responsible for other misc items (shoes, socks, bows, and shorts.) Links/directions for purchasing all misc items will be provided beginning in early August.
