Frequently Asked Questions

How will the Watching Hills partnership work for Spring 26'?

This year we have decided to partner all grades/teams with Watchung Hills. This  is a significant and exciting transition for our program! Moving to a joint team structure (Berkeley Heights, Mountainside, and Watchung Hills) is a great way to ensure there are enough players for dedicated rosters at every grade level.  This will create standalone teams for every grade level to prioritize player and team development. Key logistic points of partnership:

  • Game Jerseys: The jersey worn for the season will be determined by which group (BH/MS or WH) has the higher number of participants in that specific grade.
  • Coaching: Teams will feature a blended coaching staff of parents from all participating towns.
  • Locations: Practices and games will rotate across:
  • Snyder Field (Berkeley Heights)
  • Kantor Park (Long Hill/Warren)
  • Pop Warner Field (Long Hill/Warren)

Registration will continue to go through BHPAL. If you have further questions regarding the partnership with Watchung Hills, please reach out to me at amorris@bhpal.org.

Is there a program or team for 1st and 2nd Grade players?

YES! We will be offering a team / program for 1st and 2nd graders. This program will run in joint with Watchung Hills. Information and registration link in program page.

Are there any volunteer coaching positions available?

YES! We are always on the look out for volunteer coaches or trainers to help our assist our kids! If you are interested in volunteering your time, please contact Andrew Morris at amorris@bhpal.org

Can you play another spring sport and still play lacrosse?

YES! We strongly believe in our players being multi sport athletes. Our practice and games schedules do allow players to participate in other sports.

UNFORMS

The program will be utilizing new uniforms for the 2026 season. All new and returning players will be required to purchase a full uniform package that will include a reversible game jersey, a pair of game shorts, and a shooter dri-fit shirt. Ordering information will be avavable in January 26'. Estimated price will be $75 including all taxes and shipping. Individual shooter shirts and shorts will also be available to purchase.
